This painting was inspired by a vision that the artist saw in her mind when she was going through a time of feeling burnt out. We all have our addictions/habits or things that we use to escape our every day lives. Tyler’s happened to be falling back into the habit of doomscrolling. 
The gold frame represents a mirror. It takes a lot of courage to face ourselves and really be honest with what needs to change to live a more fulfilling life. The white and black spiral represents the endless loop of doomscrolling. It makes you feel like your mind is in a warp. Time slips away and passes us by. 
The angel is resting. Birds can only fly so long until they need to land to regain the strength to continue their journey. The clouds represent peace. The vine represents God. Sometimes he forces us to sit still long enough so that we can hear him.
