The inspiration behind this piece:
 
The glass covering of the rose represents a heart. Love is delicate and precious. There are 2 ways to remove the glass covering. 
 
A person can’t smash the glass without damaging the rose. This represents your heart when you hand it to someone who is destructive or careless. If one is careful and thoughtful, they can remove the glass covering by lifting it up and in turn not damaging the rose.
