After countless hours spent in therapy, the artist worked with her therapist through a method called hypnosis therapy; to help work through some childhood wounds. “Heaven” is her safe place, a place that she sees in her mind.
There is a large lake and willow tree. This place is full of orbs, butterflies and dragon flies. The dirt road resembles the road to Tyler’s childhood home. In “Heaven”, there are large trees that cover over the path (this was not captured in the painting).
The shack is a place that the artist visits to work through her childhood wounds after loosing her mom in 2012 to suicide. The mountain range is a world inside of a world that she has not yeet explored yet. It is full of meteor showers, shooting stars and northern lights.
Over 40 hours were poured into this one of a kind piece. The artist spent roughly 4 hours alone just painting the grass meadow.
The artist wanted to make her vision come to life by painting what she saw. Tyler might end up painting several versions of this place until she gets it exactly how it looks in her mind.
A clear satin semi-gloss finish was used to protect this piece.
